![]() ![]() Therefore, I'm well aware that there may be (Most likely are) inaccuracies here and there in my collection I've put together. Special thanks to D-R-A-S-T-I-C, this guide would not have been possible without his contributions and help.(Not Yet Implemented) Means it is a planned section that hasn't been written yet.More to come! This project is not yet complete, will be on on going effort. If you find anything that requires corrections, please do speak up. Gameplay is unchanged since the original. You are still the king and each subject still does their own thing. The most important measure of your kingdom's viability is your treasury. Given enough money one can build the buildings, recruit the heroes and plant the flags required to beat back the ravening hoards. Run out of money, though, and everything falls apart. See, this is no top-down command economy. Your heroes are fleshed-out, well-animated, little people with their own bank balances and names and inventories and levels and classes (fighters, archers, clerics, magic-users, etc.). ![]() They wander around your kingdom looking for fame and fortune, or maybe just a little action. As the king you have to harness these mighty engines of destruction to do useful things by providing them with the necessary incentives. That is, attach a flag to something, attach a monetary reward to that flag, and let the heroes decide whether they'll take the job.All well and good, but you need an income stream in order to place flags with. The clever part here is that your little kingdom can build a market and a magic bazaar and a blacksmith and other economic buildings. The heroes stop off at these places to buy stuff like magic swords and better armor. When they do, you levy a tax on the transaction. I see vids where it's WAY faster than that. This tax goes into your treasury, which can then be used to pay for flags. ![]() The Ancient towers build SO slow, it takes about 10 days in-game to finish one. I've tried that one about 20 times now and I never get it completed. Despite this building glitch (everything takes long time to build) I managed to almost finish the game, except the "FireWall" mission. I play with G-Sync 144Hz (v-sync off in-game), will definately try what's posted above. In the video the guy has the towers kill the guilds, but I get overrun SO fast it's not doable like that. Especially on missions like the one where you need to destroy all archer guilds quickly, before you get overrun, I cannot even complete one tower before it is destroyed. In the vids I see on Youtube other guys already have an army of 10 heroes running around end of day 2 (!). Getting my first guild out takes about 3 days in-game, and I can have my first archer at the end of day 3. If you are well prepared go to the harbour and when the trap has been placed mark up king rat with about 15.000 coins or more and your heroes together with the towers will do the rest.Īre you guys serious about the v-sync bug? I've been pulling my hair out (if I had any left) why my building speeds are ridiculously slow, compared to all YouTube vids. let all heroes level up to 20 or more while earning money and building up at least 8 dwarf towers around the place, where the rat trap will be placed, but leave enough room for the trap. add some guard towers around your buildings.ĩ. and meanwhile you may set a faster speed.Ĩ. in the north of the rogues build a market place, blacksmith and so on, at least one dwarfs guild. ![]() upgrade the guard towers and build a rogues guild near the bears at the castle.ħ. keep some distance between buildings an rat holes, so king rat will not reach them.Ħ. set speed to 0.5 again what speeds up building time in relation to movements.Ĥ don't get near the harbour before you have built about 8 dwarf towers around the destination of the rat trap!ĥ. start building of 3 guard towers at the left wall of the castle (with harbor in upper left corner).ģ. ![]()
